OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF A SHOT BLASTING MACHINE
The parts are placed manually inside a closed, sealed enclosure, or with the help of an overhead crane or forklift, depending on their clearance.
The operator, protected with PPE, projects shot through a lance onto the surface of the parts.
The booths are equipped with a ventilation system that recovers and filters the ambient dust generated inside the enclosure.
The booths are also equipped with a shot recovery system. Depending on the operation chosen, it can be partial or total recovery.
The recovered mixture is conveyed to a bucket elevator, equipped with a classification system that separates the shot from the rest of the mixed particles.
If the parts to be treated are small, we have suction or pressure bag blasters.
